Brief History
The Faculty of Commerce at Benha University (currently) was established in 1961, and its beginning was “the Commercial Division of the Higher Technical Institute in Shubra “. It offered all its courses in the English language to all its Egyptian, Arab, African, and other international students. The Ministerial Resolution No. (1142) was issued on 1/25/1976 to establish a branch of Zagazig University in Benha, including the Faculties of Commerce, Medicine, and Education in the city of Benha, the Faculty of Agriculture in Mashtohour, and the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra.
